Can i say stampin’ up here? Well, i am. I just finished
my class for the month and here are thep projects we did! The gals all did great, we finished on time and the projects actually made me like the Polka Dots & Paisley set!!! I think it’s the paper that does it for me… love paper!
Off to go to dinner… night out w/my hubby, my sis and bro in law and two friends visiting from Fresno- signing off til next time…

March Stampin’ UP! class

SplitcoastStampers.com website offers daily challenges to get our creative juices flowing… this week’s Inspiration Challenge is based off a Starbucks Coffee Card- (i actually submitted the challenge a couple months ago – :D) and so here is my entry. The flowers are made from Spring Mini’s Big Blooms- done in Pixie Pink, Cool Carribean, So Saffron and Real Red. A clear button and apple green grosgrain finishes off the flower. The background stamp is Doodle This and Warm Words- stamped with Black Stazon onto Shimmer white cardstock, then mounted onto Basic Black cardstock. Now… this isn’t really my favorite card ever, but since Trudee beat me to the challenge and actually designed the card i had in mind (ratz!) I had to improvise. I’ve also added her blog to my list… in case you (whoever you are) would like to oggle the rest of her stuff.
So, while i’m not incredibly happy with my challenge card, i am happy they used my inspiration piece because; 1: i love starbucks- venti nonfat no water extra hot chai latte- and 2: DOODLES rule and so does this particular card and 3: i have nothing better to do with myself!!!
Almost finished with the Baby Gift Book
Okay, getting closer now… only 1 full 2 pg layout and 1 1pg layout to do… Here’s more of the book- I love creating baby books… only time i can get away with cutey style pages!!
Finally had time to get some scrappin’ done!
I’m working on a gift baby book for my friends who just had their 2nd… i’m terrible about remembering due dates and thought i had more time! So today I’m finishing up so I can bring it over… here are a couple of pics of the 1st few pages. All stamps and papers are from Stampin’ Up! and there are a few extra embellys on the title page from the Pleasanton Scrapbook expo… sorry can’t remember the company. I used “I’m Here” boy Simply Scrappin’ Kit, Bundle Up!, Wild About You, some retired DP (Splash) and some On Board Accents… I’ll post the rest as soon as it’s done. I believe I have about an hour to try, so I’m off to scrap!!
