Today I managed to do a Demo Challenge- Use a color you neglect. In this case, I pretty much never use Pixie Pink… pretty freakin’ bright and garish to my sensitive eyes! But i used Pretty in Pink and Whisper White to offset the glow. The set is Vases in Vogue- stamped with black stazon. I tried to use the reverse stamp technique (or mirror image) but it didn’t transfer over well- so I filled it in with a black SU marker. The corner has 2 eyelets set and the ribbon is Pink Grosgrain. The flowers are Pixie Pink, leaves- Old Olive, vase- Pretty in Pink and Pixie Pink. The card base is the Textured Pixie Pink- and it is 5×5″.
I’ve also been working my Great Swaps Invitation Only swap – there are 2 swaps this month- Holiday Mini (and my order comes tomorrow!) and “Show us what you can do” as a get to know each other kind of swap. I don’t mind saying: THIS IS FREAKING ME OUT! But I have been plugging away, so here is a snippet of what my swap will be like-
