hi-tech class….

14 Sep

bitty-book-case.jpg

This is my current project/class.  For this Bitty Book project, I used Dashing Designer Series Paper, River Rock and Old Olive textured cardstock, Old Olive wide grosgrain ribbon and River Rock double stitched ribbon.  I used a Jumbo eyelet to add something to the title that was stamped with Outline Alpha.

The book will be a reference binder for my customers.  We will do 3 different techniques after we cover the book – simple ones since the book will take some time! My customers will be able to select the papers they wish to cover their book with.

The technique shown in this picture is Poppin’ Pastels.  I haven’t used my pastels in about 400 years, so it’s about time!   Using the Fabulous Flowers (only my favorite set currently), I mixed Close to Cocoa and Sage Shadow on one cotton ball and lightly brushed it across the sentiment, giving it a two-tone effect.  The flower was brushed with Cameo Coral.

Below is a sampling of the papers my class can choose from… there will be more available, such as the Designer Prints in So Saffron, Soft Sky, Certainly Celery, River Rock and Old Olive.  The papers pictured here are Wintergreen, Outlaw, Porcelain Prints, Dashing and Blue Bayou Designer Print Series.

If you happen to be one of my customers, the class date/time has changed to Sunday 9/23 1-4 pm!   Watch for the email update… d;)
