giggle giggle… whee wheee! ARRRR!

So here is my Blog Sketch Challenge card.. and i know i gave the sketch as 6″x3″, but it seemed a little too small, so this is actually 6″x4″ instead.  I used Zoofari, Linen Background and It’s your Birthday stamp sets (“They Say It’s Your Birthday” sentiment was stamped insided). 

Card base is Blue Bayou.  Then Linen was inked up with River Rock ink and stamped on River Rock cardstock.  I finished the 2nd layer by adding Designer Prints paper - argyle pattern in River Rock on the bottom and adding Double Stitched Blue Bayou ribbon.   The main image was stamped on with Black Stazon on Very Vanilla.  I colored the birds with Blue Bayou ink on the ink pad lid and a aqua painter, adding some Soft Sky to the top and Sahara Sand on the bottom.   Very fast and simple and the card will work for a Dude’s birthday!

Now… about the “Giggle Giggle… Whee Wheee!”  

As I was leaving for work this afternoon, I found a Priority Mail box on my front step.  MY PAPERTREY INK ORDER ARRIVED!   Excuse the bad pic- i took it with my camera phone (new pink razr!) and it came out a little blurry.  But here it is!   Nichole and her team signed the thank you card!! Each item was individually wrapped carefully in tissue and packed ever so gently in the box…  I wish I could play but I’m at work til 2am and I don’t think Rhonda (my friend living in my granny unit- where my craft room is) would appreciate me coming in and stamping at 2:30 am. (sigh!)

The items here (because you can’t really tell) are the Holiday Treats and Take a Bough sets, a large size acrylic block and the Making Memories acrylic bubble stickers for the ornaments.  The Holiday Treats has stamps that will cover an Avery Address label (5160 i believe) and those happen to cover Hershey’s Nuggets perfectly!
