october is a big time birthday month!

October is a big month for birthdays in my neck of the woods.  Well, it actually starts in September and lasts thru November, with October being crammed.  I guess not much was happening in my family and friends parent’s lives during the dreary months of January and February many years ago… seems like the fad back then was to stay in bed! Hee hee….

Keith’s Granny, Theola, turns 96 this month!  She is one heck of a lady and happens to love frogs.  So this is her card- we’ll deliver this with a little bitty book album of pictures to match.

The matching bitty book can be seen here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/678782?cat=500&ppuser=81270

And since I love this Stampin’ UP! designer paper, Fall Flowers, I just decided to create 2 more cards with it.  Recipes for all cards below!

Granny’s Card:
Unfrogettable Stamp Set, Sahara Sand, Fall Flowers, Soft Sky Textured and Whisper White Cardstock,  Olive Green Wide Grosgrain ribbon, Sahara Sand, Old Olive & Really Rust Classic ink and Aquapainter, Stampin Dimensionals
Other 2 Fall Flowers Birthday Cards:
Middle Card:   Hugs & Wishes & Pick a Petal, Sahara Sand, Really Rust, Whisper White cardstock and Fall Flowers papers.  Olive Green Wide Grosgrain ribbon, 1/8th inch hole punch, Slit Punch.   For the center of the flower, I punched 2 1/8″ holes on either side of the stamped circle, then threaded the wide grosgrain ribbon through- secured it in back with double sided tape.
Card on the right:  Sahara Sand, Really Rust, Soft Sky Textured & Whisper White cardstock and Fall Flowers papers,  On Board Blossoms, Jumbo Eyelets-Pewter, 1/4″ hole punch, Tag Corner Punch, Soft Sky Double Stitched ribbon, Really Rust Craft Ink, Stampin Dimensionals.
