. . . guidance on Acetate. I DESPERATELY want to create one of those awesome looking acetate cards (did you see StarOfMay’s most recent one in her SCS gallery or her blog?? SWEET!). But both boxes of transparencies I’ve bought are flimsy. One was the stuff for writing on when using an overhead projector-too thin. The other one I bought is for copiers and it has a white strip on the leading edge. I want the ENTIRE 8.5×11 sheet to be clear for maximum card making ability! And it’s not that sturdy either.
Is that asking too much? A sturdy, clear sheet w/no paper edges? Or am I thinking the acetate cards are sturdier than they really are? Maybe they aren’t as stiff as cardstock?
These boxes are not cheap either! I bought them at Office Depot. So, I’m pleading my ”pretend” online friends… any tips? Any leads? Any brands you swear by? I’m taking the copier transparencies back, unless these are the ones everyone’s using. Share your wisdom with me, Stampin’ Queens! Hey- if you provide me with a winning brand or source, I’ll RAK ya back!!
