In other news; Cats are Weird. Trooper, pictured below is truly weird. He’s also a bad-ass. Well, that’s what he wants you to think. During the summer months, he pretty much can’t be bothered with us. But once the weather cools down…
This morning, i crawl into bed. Joey The Lab instantly takes his spot in the crook of my knees. Trooper jumps up and settles in on Keith’s side under the comforter. We have a little routine- i scratch his ears, he purrs, i lay my open hand next to him and we fall asleep. Recently, he’s added to this little exchange- he now puts his paw on my palm. Once, he even laid his chin down!

Cats are definitely weird and quirky. Trooper is SO cute. I love the paw on palm – that’s adorable. Hope you got some sleep after your shift despite all that PaperTrey excitement going on!
