First, let me apologize to my stamping friends who are waiting for more posts and pictures on Stamping related issues. I had Monday and Tuesday completely available to stamp and a list of projects I need to do. So, I watched movies. I have Wednesday and Thursday morning available as well, but it remains to be seen if I make my way into my studio. “What’s WRONG with you?!” you ask? I think I’m suffering from “Post Holiday Stamping Avoidance Disorder”(PHSAD), commonly known as Stamper’s Avoidance. If I avoid the lab tomorrow, I will write to Dear Paperlicious for advice on my problem.
In the meantime, my non-stamping brain is still fixated on Yosemite and how much it reminded me of Disneyland, only colder and less fast food. I have researched the topic and have found many striking similarities.
7 Things About Disneyland
Crowds with Cameras- Wildlife…..
Rodents & Bears
- Daring Activities,
such as Rock Climbing on the Matterhorn
Large, Dangerous animals walking among humans, providing excellent photo ops- Children…. over excited and over tired

-
Park enforcement officers (or weird people in costume- you pick)
Traffic jams caused by motorists stopping in the roadway to let the aforementioned large animals pass (as well as getting a photo of them)
I’m sure there are more similarities… if you know of one that wasn’t listed, please let me know!

You know I loved this post. I think you covered the bases but if I think of one I will let you know!
Happy New Year, Denise!! I know it has been ages since I have been around in a stamping kind of way, but I just wanted to say hello! :) I hope to get back to creating and maybe even blogging :P You have been AWESOME about your blog. I have been going through all of your past entries!! What an amazing trip you had! Anyway, hope to see you more in a papercrafting way in 2008! -Maria
I stumbled across this blog while searching for the term National Park Stamps. While I know that it’s not the same kind of stamping, you should check out http://www.parkstamps.org if you guys enjoy visiting National Parks.
By the way, of all the National Parks I visited, Yosemite is my favorite. I noticed that you were planning on going to Seattle this summer. I definitely would recommend visiting Mount Rainier National Park if you have the time.
I want to go SOOO bad! When our kid (and any future kids) are a little older, we’ll take a trip.
Btw, love your signature on SCS right now! ;)
LOL, so funny : )
You are too funny! Loved the comparisons!
I love your sense of humor!! This post cracked me up!!
You are so funny!!! And you may be on to something here…… :)
ok~ too freakin’ funny!! As I am *trying* to plan a trip to D-land…..might as well go to Yoesmite~probably cheaper!
You forgot huge parking lots and the fact that there’s a “behind the scenes” place tourists don’t go; that’s the place with the inner workings like garbage dumps, pipes, sewer ponds, etc.
