Did you see this post on AJ’s blog? A RAK for… She was sending it to me!!! I got this in the mail yesterday and can i say, it’s even cuter in person! Thanks AJ- i love the hedgehog and the layout and you’re truly a sweetie to send such nice wishes!
Last night, my hostess club started up again. For my club, I put together 1/2″ binders with a plain white title page slid into the front, as seen in this picture. Each meeting they will have a tutorial on the project to add to the binder.
My hostesses will earn a raffle ticket for decorating their title page!
Inside the binder are 10 card sketches – taken directly off the SCS sketch challenges. Since we are meeting every other month, I am having the hostess pick a card sketch each meeting, and having them create swap cards between meetings. I want them to use the stuff they buy as well as do the techniques we learn, at home.
At the next meeting, the hostesses will have created 7 swap cards using the sketch. If they participate, they get another raffle ticket! From there, they can continue to earn more raffle tickets for using certain embellishments, techniques and even if they mail a card to me at any time! At the end of our club, I’ll pull a raffle ticket and the winner gets $50 to spend in the current catalog.
Last night, we created the notecard tote (designer Leslie Rich) using SU designer papers. They all did great! The one below is using Spring Fling. I realized I didn’t stamp the sentiments on my demo cards last night- but they would be stamped in White Craft ink if they were there!
Check back tomorrow for my latest Craft Room storage find!
