And finally, a funny story….
Female calls up saying she needs some help, it’s “kinda a funny story” and begins to tell me that she lives on 1234 BoogieWoogie Ave and her friend was supposed to come by late in the night. Well, somehow, she slept through his phone call and so he was apparently trying to get in the apartment via window or the slider. Funny thing is, she continues, is that her neighbor saw this and called us (the police) and he was arrested for burglary. The cops took him to jail! So, since it was her fault she invited him over late, and slept through his phone call, she wanted us to drop all charges and cancel the report. It was all a misunderstanding!
I haven’t heard that one before…
