Greetings and Salutations! Don’t know about you, but this weekend was BEAUTIFUL! Sunny, warm, almost springlike in manner and appearance. Even the night was warm!! Plus, I had Sunday off (fortunately, since it’s Spring Foward and that would mean getting up an hour EARLIER and that’s just ridiculous) so that alone is awesome. Today, we hiked up at Lake Sonoma – a 4 mile round trip on trails. My legs are tired!
I was able to stamp and create this weekend too. My “to do” list consisted of:

7 swaps for my Hostess Club meeting – i challenge my club members to make cards in between meetings- using a sketch from one of the SCS Sketch Challenges. I’ll post that card after my meeting Tues.

A birthday card for my Aunt Linda who turns 60 on Wednesday

A birthday theme scrapbook for the same Aunt, that has her list 6 Things She’s Learned each decade, plus a list of 6 highlights of each decade (good or bad). And it’ll have space for her to add a photo of herself as she was in that particular decade. I’ll post that later this week as well! (it’ll probably be a few days late getting to her, but when you turn 60, isn’t the whole month your birthday?)

Now, you may remember Kristina Werner was selling her .pdf file CD calendars? I thought these would make great gifts and be fun and easy projects to have a class or for my club. So, the time is now! I love the clean, modern style of the calendars, and each month will have it’s own decoration.
Here is March – with the Wonderful You Jumbo wheel in Old Olive ink. There’s one 4-leaf flower in there!
