Raccoon Epidemic Reaches New Heights

13 Mar

(3/29/10 ETA- raccoon googlers, please read this request! http://geekgirl415.com/2010/03/19/raccoons-and-me/ - thanks!).

After a day long investigation, it is apparent that the Raccoon Militia is larger than previously thought.  Reports from all across North America are confirming that Raccoons are the fastest growing new terror group, second only to beavers.

The FBI is labeling Raccoon activity as Terror Alert BlackBrownSilver.  Travel is not advised when this alert level is active. If you see anyone resembling the below photo acting strangely, screeching, raiding ponds or other aggressive behavior, please run away real fast.

A raccoon got the treats in our Girl Scout tent once. It was kind of funny. He really didn’t care that he had 4 little girls with flashlights staring at him while he tore into a Snickers. We couldn’t even tell anyone because we weren’t supposed to have food in the tent. hehe. Great job with the card. The color combination is so unique!

This turned out fabulous! I love the details like the candle glow – awesome!
The only raccoon stories I know are we used to find them occasionally in garbage cans when I worked at a summer daycamp, and we’d have to call the parks guys to get them out. Nobody got bit or anything, so the stories aren’t very exciting. Heehee.
