I was SO EXCITED about this month’s hostess project… until I was making my prototype. Gaah. Not easy. Not worthy of my uber talented & fun hostesses. I’m not saying what it was until I perfect it, and post it with a tutorial. It IS a great home decor idea, but the process needs tweaking.
But I was freakin’ out about what to do for them that wasn’t boring, with only a week to plan. No time to order anything for it- so it had to be from stuff on hand. Then… I saw this on Linda McClain’s blog. Well, DUH! I have heaps of projects we can do, all from Convention! So – the cute bags Linda features, along with the notecard holder linked on her blog created by Dawn Griffin. And one more fun project that will need to be a surprise.
How many demos put their new catty orders in today? Me!
In other news,
I have a freakin’ kidney stone! Last week, I was doubled over in pain for two days before Keith forced me to call the doc. And my doc figured it out right away. He told me he’s had them several times. When I asked how long til this too, shall pass – he gave me a long answer. “The 1st stone- took 10 days, the 2nd- about 7, the 3rd, maybe 5 days….” and so on. Apparently, the more you get them, the better you are at them.
Tuesday night is girls nite at Stout Brothers Pub. I’m meeting my peeps there after work for some brewskis and ”healthy” pub food. I can’t wait- we always have a great time!
TTFN!

Yikes – I am so sorry to hear about the stones. I have had a “pebble” (the doc said it wasn’t big enough to qualify as a stone), but it was wayyyy painful enough. I hope you recover quickly! :) Hang in there!
