Face it. We all want our blogs to reflect our style and sense of humor. And we want to know how to do all the cool stuff. FOR TOO LONG, blog tip blogs have been monopolized by boring, geeky (in the bad way) superior nerds who don’t understand our blogging needs…. fun, pretty, customizable, personality laden blogs. Technology is for the masses! Just say NO to supercilious, 2nd Life losers. If you’re looking for real, relevant blog tips, forget the boring geeks out there with no sense of style. (i mean, really!) Instead, why not try this site from the maker of Fresh Vintage.
FreshVintage is a cool site. She has the best photographs of “crap” she finds at garage & estate sales. I mean “crap” in the best way- she really finds the goods! I don’t have the patience or talent. My greatest yard sale find was an asparagus steamer. But there is a certain breed of people who have a talent for finding the hidden jewels at garage sales. I wonder if it’s an east coast thing, where there are actual antiques from our forefathers. Here in CA, antiques are circa 1960- which is still good i guess, if you like fake wood & macrame.

Honestly, I don’t really even like “vintage” (well, i like to look at it… and fondle it… but it is not my decorating or wardrobe philosophy-i’m more of a Pottery Barn & Gap girl). Still, her blog sucks me in with the photography and the stories behind her finds. And her loot is always super kewl. I think her FreshBlogTips will be a boon to all of us crafty geeks out there who want our blogs to sizzle with our dynamic, inspiring personalities!
