Christmas Stamp a Stack

31 Oct

I promise I’ll get to some of my travel pics and stories – it’s rather overwhelming the amount of photos we took!  Ugh!!  But the trip was wonderful.  Last week, while still trying to sleep normal, and get the house back in order from all our laundry & stuff, I realized…. HOLY MOLEY!  MY CHRISTMAS CARD CLASS IS NEXT SATURDAY!!

Wow.  I had to rush and get the Evite out.   I had to design cards, get the supplies to the house on time and prep for the class.  It all worked out tho.  I actually ended up ordering supplies I thought I’d want to use and making it work, people.  (don’tcha love Timm Gunn??).  Anyway, without further ado….

To Your Home from Ours card

To You & Yours stamp set from Holiday mini, Chocolate Chip, Confetti White, Riding Hood Red cardstock, DSP Ski Slope, Chocolate Chip ink, Craft White ink, Ribbon Originals Alpine, scallop border punch. Inspired by Justampin on SCS.

Warm Wishes Snowflake card

This is the case of a case (to the 3rd power??)  I found Becky’s card and she had cased Dawn’s card and so it goes.  I’m so lucky to have these chickies in my “go to file” whenever I need inspiration!  Plus, they’re both KILLER SWEET!  (???killer sweet? it’s what came to mind) (oh, it’s Halloween!)

Hugs & Wishes set, Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White cardstock, DSP Ski Slope from Holiday Mini, Riding Hood Red ink, Old Olive wide grosgrain,   Little Felt Flurries, Pretties rhinestone brads.

I LOVE this pattern paper from Ski Slope…omiwerd.

Merry & Bright card:

This simple set is quite simply, adorable.  One of my favs. This card was inspired by akjuda on SCS.  I think she inspired me last year also!!  Be sure to check out her gallery-her work catches my eye every time.

Merry & Bright set, Real Red, Whisper White, Old Olive cardstock.  Scallop Circle punch, 1 3/8″ circle, 1 1/4″ circle punches, 1/2″ striped grosgrain in Real Red, Silver elastic cord from the Holiday Mini.  Oh, and Real Red and Old Olive markers.

Season of Joy card:

Naturally, I was in a huge time crunch, since that is my M.O.  I am such a procrastinator.  So all of these cards are inspired by others – if not an exact case. Clean and simple is my style preference (in case you haven’t figured that out) and I’m not afraid of a lot of “white space”.  :D

This card was inspired by andreaschloe on SCS.  She actually had quite a few cards that inpired me, so be sure to check out her gallery. I just added the ribbon, since my customers like that kinda thang!

Season of Joy set:

Old Olive, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White cardstock, Old Olive ink, Earth Elements brad, paper piercing mat pack, 5/8″ striped grosgrain in Riding Hood Red.

To You & Yours card:

This one is actually mine, inspired only by a sketch.  Whew. I was getting scared I didn’t know how anymore, weren’t you?

To You & Yours set, Baja Blue, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White cs, Ski Slope DSP, Brown stazon, Baja Blue ink, aqua painter, 5/8″ striped grosgrain in Baja Blue, and in this sample I used the Chocolate Poly Twill (retired) but the class will be using Chocolate Taffeta and/or 1/4″ Chocolate grosgrain.

That’s it for now!  Thanks for stopping by and have a Happy Halloween!

I’m diggin’ all your cards – cased or not, they’re adorable. And, yes, I try to channel Tim Gunn every chance I get. Wish he’d make me over.
