I’ve had a bunch o’ mini-thoughts this past week, nothing large scale enough to warrant it’s own blog post, so I’m going to borrow the format from one of my favorite non-stampin’ bloggers, Random Esquire. Bullet points! Here we go.
- Sarah Palin – why is she still around? I can’t believe the nerve she has to point fingers at everyone else but herself for that campaign loss. She played a very large part in that downward spiral.
- Michelle Obama – why the “black widow” dress on Election night? Not a good look (although the article I linked was actually a flattering photo of her in it).
- Barack Obama – without going into too much detail – YAHOO! For the 1st time in 8 years (actually, more like 22 – my total years of voting) I’m excited about a presidency. Change is good people, honest! Relax. It can’t get any worse than what it is now.
- Not sure you’ve noticed, but I haven’t been blogging/crafting much… that DANG TWILIGHT SERIES has me under its spell and I CANNOT ESCAPE. It’s all Lorraine’s fault. Anyway, the bloodlust will be at an all time high on Friday 11/21/08. A pack of us crazy vampire-wanna-bees will be attending the movie, wearing these.
- I joined Facebook for some reason. Actually Keith had to for this project he’s working on at work, and so I followed him. I didn’t include my High School because I didn’t want to be found by anyone from High School (i barely escaped with my life!). But there are a lot of PSF’s and IRLF’s on there. What does it do?
- It just dawned on me high school would have been SO MUCH BETTER if Edward Cullen was a classmate.

Yeah, Palin…I wonder if she fully feels the brunt of the conventional wisdom that she sunk the Republican ticket.
Who knows – but I’m grateful she did. GOBAMA.
I’m almost tempted to buy a stamp but I’m afraid I’d lose my status as one of your favorite non-stamping bloggers. ;)

I believe Sarah Palin is still around because there are a large group that look up to her, respect her and feel strongly that she has something to offer. Unfortunately there had to be a losing side and she was on it. And people will always look to blame someone.
