How was your holiday? We have only one more day left of 2008- what are your plans for 2009? Resolutions? I have probably 15 resolutions – we’ll see how that goes, lol!
I’m happy to say I can share my secret Christmas gifts now, since all the recipients have theirs. The good thing about this project is that it can be done anytime, with any theme and pics, for anyone! So, without further ado… I present to you my 4×6 digi-calendars!
(you could do this in regular cardstock/papers too, but i seem to be gravitating towards digi… and the great thing is i could upload these at Costco and have 15 of them in an hour- and that’s not possible with paper!)

I bought the Photoshop Elements template from Scrapgirls.com. It’s a layered template and you just use your pics, your digi kit elements (papers, brushes -whatever you want) and clip them onto the appropriate layer. The templates are pre-laid out, with the month, the days of the weeks and the dates – all you have to do is pick your pics and “papers”.

I found that the 4×6 cases from Flourishes were PERFECT to store all 12 months of photos- and i found them on Joan’s blog when she did the comparison of clear stamp storage options. I did use Stampin’ Up! papers and ribbons for the belly bands. Actually- there were a few I didn’t get pics of that included the Felt Flurries Snowflakes with Pretties brads. In this pic, the belly band is white Taffeta ribbon with Holiday Treasures DSP.

Here are a few of the pages. The pics i used were determined by the recipient. Friends or co-workers got scenes from around Sonoma County that we’ve taken over the years. The ones my family got had pics of family members on their birthday months. Keith got a calendar using my favorite vacation photos from past and present. It was so much fun to do!!! Oh, i included a frame from Target that had a very narrow edge (frame). Maybe you could call it a frameless frame? A regular frame will have a thicker edge and would block the date portion of the calendar.
I happen to have an extra calendar handy… with frame and case. Post a comment sharing one of your New Year’s resolutions and I’ll pick a lucky winner on Jan 1!!

Very cool calendars! I would love to have one of those for my desk! I try to make a resolution every year, but that doesn’t seem to work. This year I am going to resolve to spend more time stamping what I want, and not trying to make samples all the time! Thanks for the chance to win!

These are adorable!! One of my resolutions is to drop the baby weight, from both the new baby and the 3 year old baby. :)

These are so cool. My new year resolution: Relax. Relax about things and focus on only what is important. Relax about the things that doesn’t make me happy and focus on the things that does.
