This is an Awesome Deal! The Vanilla HodgePodge Hardware is GORGEOUS! Matte finish and softly elegant. I will be ordering this for sure. So today, I was finishing up the cutting of the paper. Krystie, it hasn’t been too bad- but I just stuck to paper and skipped the ribbon shares at this time (but I am planning a ribbon share!). It helps that I’m putting the sheets immediately into the cute little boxes. The papers are stunning. Kaleidescope reminds me of the psychedelic art of the 60′s (but pretty, not “trippy” … except for one sheet that reminds me of Dune -specifically the sand worms- I’d link you a picture of the sand worms, but don’t want to cause nightmares!) and probably that’s just my weird mind so don’t worry about it. It still is BEAUTIFUL, sand worm sheet and all. It just reminds me of those things. I also really really love Nouveau Chic. It’s very similar to Basic Grey designs. And my Christmas cards this year will definitely be sporting some Holiday Lounge!!
And to be clear: I am NOT recommending you see the movie Dune, if you haven’t already. I know a lot of my blog readers were born after that travesty (1984). I spent the worst 3+ hours of my life (and this was way before 3+ hour movies were the norm) supporting my high school buddy who was an avid Dune reader. I fell asleep in the movie, only to awaken with a start when the Sand Worms came into the scene. I will never forgive him for that. :D
