OK, My best moment was a day spent out "in the country" at stables where my daughter has started her brand new passion for all things horses. They had a candy cane hunt on horseback. My daughter managed to fall off a horse that was standing stock still, but had a blast. My husband and I were able to stop bickering long enough to really enjoy our family time and my girls didn't utter a cross word to each other.
So for the new year, my husband and I are going to try to behave respectfully towards each other and enjoy each other always.

BTW, I noticed your quote from Aldous Huxley. We named our first dog together after him because of a quote from him we found about procreation. We had planned to breed him (he was a vizsla) initially and came to our senses after a couple of years of having an unneutered male. Huxley was the best and sweetest boy ever.
Happy New Year!

I worked until 8pm. I had expected to visit with my parents and pick up Linda from enjoying the holiday with the family.

All my sisters and their families had waited for me to get off work and make it down to Petaluma. They visited with me, let me play their new Wii game, and my nephew even took the time to put together my present for me. I am sure their drives home were fog filled and longer for them than usual but it made me very happy to see them all still there just for me :-)

Onward to 2010 ... prayers for peace and healing for all!

Happy moments: The look of wonder in Elsa's eyes all season long, about everything from the neighbor's lights to Santa's cookies disappearing.

Worst moments: Christmas eve when Tuffy bit me SO hard while nursing that he broke skin.

You asked! ;)

I'm sorry about whatever happened, I'm glad you're getting past it.
