We’ve known each other a long time now- close to 2 years and I think we are close enough that we can have a frank discussion about Suckopoly. This is a problem that affects us consumers and I’ve about had it. “What is it?” you ask? Well, you already know. But you just didn’t know there was a word for it. I’m gonna give it to you straight (because quite frankly, the big Suckopolies out there DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW). If you find you’re a victim of SUCKOPOLY, let me know. Dear Verizon & iPhone, I’m TIRED OF YOUR SUCKOPOLY. Why the freak do I have to choose between wanting excellent network coverage (thank you Verizon) and a mediocre phone or medicore network coverage and an excellent phone? I WANT BOTH. I am a consumer and your stupid little power games and meager trinkets to placate us (Droid- you don’t give me international service – so don’t talk to me til you do) ARE NOT WORKING FOR ME. I HEREBY SHALL REFER TO YOU AS A SUCKOPOLY UNTIL YOU GIVE ME WHAT I WANT. Verizon + iPhone. Thank you.Dear Comcast and Direct TV, I’m TIRED OF YOUR SUCKOPOLY. I loved you, Direct TV, until my husband needed consistent cycling coverage and pre-Olympic sports coverage. Is it too much to ask that you work it out with Universal and Versus? What is the hold up? This is classic Suckopoly behavior. Comcast cable – you just simply suck. In. Every. Way. I’m miserable in this relationship and all I can do is think about the love I had with DirectTV. All I ask is that these companies quit their stubborn, separatists behavior. You mght still have profits, even more maybe, if people are actually HAPPY and have the TV service they know is out there but simply can’t have without some kind of sacrifice. Those are two big time Suckopolies I’m dealing with for the last year or so. I’m frustrated! Can you can see where we, as consumers, are forced to choose between good/sucky and sucky/good all the time? We are paying top dollar for medocrity. What Suckopoly are you currently a victim of?
