I laugh every time I see this! I watched a 20 minute video on youtube about making this commercial and learned they did it in all one take. Granted, it was take 57 on day 3 of the shoot but WOW! And barely any post-processing/shopping. Love it!

I’m amazed he could do it all in one take- it’s perfect! I just wonder how he got from walking on deck to sitting on top of a horse!

In the youtube video they explained that they had a contraption that he sat on and it scooted him to the horse. You’ll notice about the time he’s holding the shell, he sits. And then he’s pony-bound.
It’s extremely clever. I love this commercial.

I thought this was so funny the first time I saw it. Old Spice certainly has upgraded their imagine (as far as I’m concerned). Doesn’t look like the after shave I used to give my Dad!
