Favorite Drinking Establishments:
Bear Republic Brewery - Huge selection of microbrews & fun staff. We are usually at the bar on any given Friday, Saturday or Sunday afternoon. I don’t include this place under favorite restaurants because it’s pub food and when you’re drinking, it serves it’s purpose. I sincerely wish from the bottom of my heart they did Pizza Bites like at Russian River Brew Co.
Spoonbar at H2 - This is the place to be and be seen and see all those being seen. Gorgeous bar, gorgeous drinks and gorgeous people. The bar is open air to the sidewalk on Healdsburg Av. It’s a part of the eco-friendly H2 Hotel Healdsburg. Had a great time here with my cousins from Portland a few weeks ago! (Hi Alex & Edward!)
John & Zekes – local hangout/dive bar – rowdy and crowded but fun!

Favorite Restaurants:
Scopa - reservations are needed pretty much always because it is small and AWESOME
Divine Pizza - great pizza, salads, good selection of draft beer, nice staff, family atmosphere & the game is always on
Healdburg Bar & Grill - full bar, lots of tasty dishes, huge outdoor patio – Bloody Mary Bar on Sundays. When people visit we usually take them here because you can get pretty much anything and it’s nice to relax outside.
Bovolo - restaurant featuring local food and specializing in pork! This is a small restaurant in the back of Copperfield’s books. Their Black Pig bacon, egg & Carmody cheese breakfast sandwich is to die for. They also have a gelato counter for dessert.
Willi’s Seafood & Raw Bar - full bar, recently remodeled for more space and great atmosphere, intimate outdoor patio. They serve “small plates” and not just seafood.
Agave Mexican - where we go when we don’t want to cook- full bar, authentic taqueria
El Farolito - another yummy, authentic taqueria also with a full bar just off the plaza
The Charcuterie - French mediterranean, small & intimate and delish!

Shops
Big John’s Market - local, independent grocery store. Quality meats & produce, awesome cheese selection. When celebrities come up to visit, they have been seen at this grocery store. Hubby saw Benecio del Toro and we missed P!nk by minutes last Labor Day. No, they weren’t together.
The Cheese Shop - all things cheese. Imports and local. Nice gift items as well.
Mr. Moons - unique gifts, cute shop – where I go for birthday cards and gifts and the cute Harvey’s Seatbelt Purses
Copperfield’s Books- ahh… the smell of books mingled with bacon (Bovolo), creaky wood floors and table upon table of books. Pretty much heaven on earth!
Plaza Gourmet - All things kitchen – a foodie’s dream. Their storefront is always beautifully done.
Rete - another store with beautiful windowfronts. Urban clothing with an edge.
Plaza Barber - Steve, the new Steve (the original Steve just retired) is the local’s choice for haircuts. He has plans to be certified to bring The Art of Shaving to his shop.

It was really fun to see you both again and I hope we get to Portland sooner rather than later! d;)
